Our website serves to provide information about our app SportZens, its functions and to provide the customer portal.
Hosting & Server Log Files
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR
We host our website with the external service provider ALL-INKL.COM (Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf). The personal data collected on this website is stored on ALL-INKL.COM servers in Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement (AVV) with ALL-INKL.COM. This includes, in particular, IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, website accesses and other data generated via a website.
The hoster is used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offer by a professional provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Cookies
In addition to technical access data, we use cookies. Cookies are small text files stored in your browser after visiting our website. They are not viruses and cannot install malware – they are simply short texts exchanged between web server and browser.
Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics exclusively on our public marketing website (sportzens.de) to analyze website usage. The data obtained is used to optimize our website.
🔒 Important Note for Schools & Teachers: Google Analytics is 100% DISABLED within the SportZens app (school and grading management). No data is sent to Google Analytics when using the grading tool.
We have extended Google Analytics with the "anonymizeIP" code. This causes the last 8 bits of the IP address to be truncated within the EU/EEA before transmission.
Fonts (Local)
GDPR compliant integration
This website uses so-called web fonts for the uniform display of fonts. To protect your privacy, we do not use external integration of Google Fonts. Instead, the fonts are installed locally on our own web server. When you access our website, no data is transferred to Google servers.
Icons (Local)
GDPR compliant integration
We use the Ionicons library to display icons. To protect your privacy, both the scripts and the SVG graphics files of the icons are hosted locally on our own web server. When accessing our website, no connection is established to external CDN servers and no IP address is transmitted to third-party providers.
Privacy Policy for the Mobile App (SportZens)
Supplementary Provisions for Google Play Store & Apple App Store
These supplementary provisions apply to the use of the mobile app SportZens (also "SportZens Pro", offered by developer Bastian Schittkowski).
1. Data Collection and Processing
To use the app, you create a user account. The following data is processed:
- Backend Hosting & Database (Supabase Inc.): Storage of all database records, grades, attendance, and user accounts takes place in ISO 27001 certified data centers in Frankfurt am Main (Germany / EU).
- Frontend Hosting & CDN (Google Ireland Limited / Firebase): Provision of application code and static app assets via EU server locations in Frankfurt am Main.
- Transactional Emails (Resend Inc.): Delivery of system emails (e.g., password reset, system notifications) is secured via the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
- Payment Processing (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.): Payment data for in-app subscriptions and school licenses is processed securely via Stripe (Ireland/EU).
- Biometric Face Recognition (Art. 9 GDPR): Automatic student recognition calculates local 128-dimensional face vectors. This biometric data processing requires explicit opt-in consent (Art. 9 para. 2 a GDPR) and can be revoked and deleted anytime.
- Data Processing Agreement (AVV pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR): Schools and departments can electronically conclude the legally required AVV directly in the customer portal (Settings / School Admin) and download it as a signed PDF.
2. App Permissions
The app requests permissions to execute certain functions:
- Camera: Used exclusively locally for analysis tools (e.g., athletics measurement, face recognition for round tracking, slow-motion analysis). No video or image recordings are transmitted to servers.
- Microphone / Speech Recognition: Optionally used for voice dictation and grading commands. Speech processing is performed on-device according to OS settings.
- File Access / Storage: For local storage of the encrypted app database to enable full offline operation.
3. Account Deletion
You can delete your user account and all linked data permanently at any time directly in the app under Settings -> Profile -> Delete Account or via our website at sportzens.de/en/delete-account .
